AOD-9604 is a synthetic fragment of human growth hormone (amino acids 177 to 191) with one added amino acid. It was developed to study the part of growth hormone linked to fat breakdown. In animal studies, it has been reported to increase fat breakdown and reduce fat formation without affecting IGF-1 levels.
